Bihar

Sudhir Kumar is the District Co-ordinator for PCVC Programs in East Champaran district. He has been with Pratham since 2008 and is a Post Graduate from Bihar University.  Sudhir is responsible for our tracking, rescue and repatriation process in East Champaran district.

Andhra Pradesh & Telangana

Shashikant Gurav is the City Coordinator for PCVC Programs in Hyderabad. He joined Pratham in 2002 as an Outreach Teacher for working children in Mumbai. Shashikant has also worked across other interventions such as the Platform Prevention and the Residential Shelter Programs. He holds Bachelor of Arts degree from University of Mumbai and a Master’s degree in Social Work from Acharya Nagarjuna Univerisity, Hyderabad.

Ashok Shaik is the District Coordinator for PCVC Programs in Guntur District. He has been with Pratham since 2007, and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Kakatiya University in Warangal, Andhra Pradesh. Ashok is responsible for our rural programs in north eastern district of Guntur, Andhra Pradesh.

Gujarat

Prasad Adhav is the District coordinator for PCVC’s programmes in Gujarat. He is currently in charge of NCLP projects in Gujarat and is directly responsible for all Surat-based PCVC programmes. Before joining Pratham in 2001, he worked at Brook Hanson and at Cipla Pharmaceuticals. Prasad’s work at Pratham has included the Read India Campaign in Bhavnagar, rural programmes in Rajkot, Read Surat Campaign covering 50,000 schools and 1,200 volunteers. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Economics.

Nikita Macwan is the District coordinator for PCVC Programs in valsad District, Gujarat. She has been with Pratham since 2012, and holds a Master Degree in Social Work form in Nirmala Niketan Collage of Social Work, Mumbai. Nikita is the Childline District Coordinator in Valsad and is also responsibal for our rural interventions in Kaprada block.

Rajasthan

 

Krishna Kanwar is the City Coordinator for PCVC programs in Jaipur, Rajasthan. She joined PCVC in 2011 and has completed her Masters in Social Work (MSW) from Indhira Gandhi National Open University). Her current responsibilities include overseeing direct programs like Community Centre, Tracking and Rescue Program, Coordination with Schools

Uttar Pradesh

Amarpal Singh is the City Coordinator for PCVC Programs Lucknow City. He has been with Pratham since 2011, and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Kanpur University, Uttar Pradesh. Amar is responsible for our urban intervention in Uttar Pradesh like Drop in centers, Child Rights Protection Desk and prevention.

Mumbai

Sarika Patil heads the Prevention Program for the Central Zone in Mumbai; she is also responsible for the Residential Shelter Program in Mumbai. She has been with Pratham since 1998. Sarika has a Bachelor of Arts degree from S.N.D.T Women’s University in Mumbai; she has also done courses in Sanitary Inspection, MS-CIT, Civil Defense, and Paraprofessional Social Work.

Kalpana Jadhav heads the Education Program in Mumbai. She joined Pratham in 1997, after completing her Bachelor of Arts degree from Y.C.M.O.U. Over the years, Kalpana has worked across Pratham’s various educational interventions. She was appointed as Probation Officer by the Child Welfare Committee of Mumbai & has also served as a PITA Committee Member, Thane District by the Dept. of Woman & Child Development Pune.

Tushar Kadam is the head of Administration and of the Disability Program in Mumbai. He joined Pratham in 2002, prior to which he worked as a computer teacher at the Byculla Police Motor Transport Department. Tushar holds a Higher Secondary School Certificate from Mittal College, Mumbai University. Tushar has been largely responsible for the expansion of PCVC’s disability focused interventions in Mumbai since 2008.

Navnath Kamble heads the Rescue and Repatriation Program in Mumbai. He joined Pratham in 2000 after completing his Higher Secondary School Certificate from Nyaan Vikas College in Mumbai. Navnath looks into critical areas pertaining to the violation of child rights across Mumbai, and works closely with the Juvenile Aid Protection Unit. He is also member of the Task Force Committee of the Mumbai City and Mumbai Suburbs.
